32 Weeks pic

Here are some pics of me at 32 Weeks--from today actually. As I said, the other ones are from 30 Weeks.

32 Weeks

Long time, no post. In the past 6 weeks, I've had my Massachusetts shower and we've completed a lot of work on the house. Baby G, as you can imagine, grows bigger. And so do I. I've also managed my way through record breaking temperatures in NY. Let me tell you, heat waves are no fun when you are pregnant. I highly recommend winter babies.

Baby News at 32 Weeks:

1. Things are just now getting to the stage where I feel like I'm in the movie Alien. Or Aliens, which I like better anyway.

2. At the last checkup, he was around 3 pounds. Now he should be close to 4? He's running small, but given the size of his parents, that makes sense.

3. He's still head up. He doesn't really have to be down until 36-37 weeks or so and he's decided to take his time. To help him along, I've done headstands in the pool, and I often lay upside down.

4. I forgot to mention to everyone at the shower that my parents gave me the crib! For obvious reasons, they did not wrap it and bring it to the shower. I felt bad for not announcing it there, so instead, I announce it here. Yay crib!

5. Yay shower attendees! Thank you so much for your generosity. Baby G is well-prepared. Pictures of you are posted here. I'm 30 weeks in these photos. Thanks to the Myers for doing a wonderful job hosting!

6. We're back to sleeping in our bedroom!!!! This also means that baby G's room is cleared of unnecessary furniture.

7. While I was in MA, Mike got a lot of work done on the house. I've posted some pictures of the beam, as promised...mostly for Siggy. But if you are also interested in beams, let me know. And I've posted some pictures that indicate progress. Now everything is painted. The first picture shows you what "done" looks like. That's the guest room closet--a closet that did not exist just a few months ago.
